In black and light
To me Decoding Sensations was all about getting the audience to interact with my artwork. Using blacklight paint to add a layer to the art that was hidden at first sight was something that I found very interesting. There were special flashlights provided for the spectators to go an a little quest to find the hidden meaning in each artwork.
The two series I proposed for this showcase utilized the blacklight concept in a similar way despite each having a slightly different theme to them.

Based on the indaHewan and Fragments of the Imagination series these blacklight editions add another layer to the original designs to expand upon the original scenes.

Specially created for Decoding Sensations these little paintings are about the things unsaid and unseen. The full story can only be seen using a blacklight flashlight.
