Waus Events
Waus organizes Techno & Deep House events in vacant commercial buildings in and around Haarlem.
For their februari addition there was an open call for artists and creators to exhibit some of their works and creations during the event. With my first showcase with Young Blood Initiative just around the corner this event seemed like a nice opporunity to get out there and exhibit the art I was working on at that time.
WAUS is part of Stichting SPEC (Foundation for the Promotion of Electronic Music Culture).

A night full of deep house and art
Most Waus Events have a certain urban and underground vibe to them. So I invited my broter to join me, because I thought his art style (sort of pop art / graffiti paintings) would suite that setting well. A little hesitant at first we ended up decorating most of the lounge area and had a lot of fun during the night talking to all of the partygoers and doing some partying ourselves.
Later that year I would attend the next Waus Event and ended up designing the promotional poster for Waus Warehouse @ KPN Toren in 2018
